How Rose Water Can Assist with Hair Loss Problems in Dubai

Hair loss is one of the biggest beauty issues for women in Dubai. I’ve written several articles previously about how to treat and recover from hair loss.

One of my favourite ingredients for helping alleviate hair loss is rosewater.

Before I started using it on my hair, I used to see it in the aisle at Carrefour for years and wonder, “what on earth is rose water and what can I possibly do with it?”

However, I was too lazy to go beyond that. As my research into hair loss solutions expanded, I came across the immense benefits of rose water.

DIY Rose Water Hair Moisturising Spritzer for Hair Loss

Rosewater is made via steam distillation with rose petals steeped in purified or distilled water.

Rosewater is used in beauty products and perfumes.

Traditionally, in the Middle East, rosewater is used as a flavouring in sweets, tea and diary-based dishes such as rice pudding and yoghurt.

How Does Rosewater Help with Hair Loss?

My previous articles have mentioned that one of the biggest tools against the war on hair loss in Dubai is keeping your hair moisturised at all times.

As a natural conditioner and moisturiser, rosewater ticks this requirement. Rosewater is rich in vitamins A, B3, C, D & E, and also helps to stabilise the pH levels of your hair.

This spritzer is excellent for treating dry and damaged hair. Repeated use over time will lead to a significant reduction in hair fall.

You can also dilute your Castile soap with rosewater or rinse your hair with it after washing and conditioning.

Rosewater is readily available in the baking section of most supermarkets. My favourite brand is Rabee Rosewater.

You can also get Dabur Gulabari Rosewater on Amazon HERE. You can also make your own rose water if inclined.

  1. I’ve always seed rose water at carrefour but I never paid much attention to it. Didn’t know I can use it on my hair. Thanks for the tips. Love your site.
